Stay At Home Order Update!

As a measure to ensure the safety of all Durham County citizens and government staff, and to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Durham, the Durham County Government has closed most offices to the public effective on Monday, March 23, 2020.


On March 28, Chair Wendy Jacobs announced the Durham County Stay-At-Home Order that went into effect on Sunday, March 29, at 5 p.m.


Chair Wendy Jacobs & Mayor Steve Schewel today unveiled several changes to Durham’s Stay-at-Home Order. The purpose is to simplify portions of the current order & to bring other portions more in line w/@NC_Governor statewide Executive Order 138.
